In 2016 one of the Polish cities will become European Capital of Culture. We all hope that this honourable, yet demanding title will be conferred to our city. We believe that Wrocław, an active and creative city, has a real chance of winning the contest.
Wrocław is full of energy. Our city derives its cultural force from activity of its inhabitants. We want our fellow citizens to join us in efforts to obtain the title of European Capital of Culture for Wrocław - just as they do so by actively participating in cultural life of our city.
For this purpose we have decided to create a platform for dialogue and exchange of thoughts and experiences of independent cultural milieus, artists and all citizens of Wrocław: Wrocław Shareholding of Culture. If you want to engage yourself in the creation of culture in Wrocław, if you wish to promote candidacy of our city for the title of ECoC 2016, join us and become a Shareholder of Wrocław Culture.
